Community Quilts

Community quilts bring comfort to our neighbors

Since our founding, VTMQG has been making community quilts for our neighbors. Each year we set a goal for the number of quilts we will collectively donate. As of August 2026, we've met our goal of 50 quilts for the year.

We donate quilts to Helping Hands at Yankee Pride Quilts. They in turn deliver quilts to local organizations like Laurie’s House, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, and the U.S. Committee for Immigrants. These handmade quilts, bring love, warmth and comfort to our neighbors. They are a simple but powerful reminder that they are not alone and that others care.
